This blog has a fairly simple concept & execution. We recolour sprites from the game Your Turn To Die -Death Game By Majority- / Kami Ga Shine -Tasūketsu Death Game-.Specifically, we recolour all sprites aside from talksprites. See further details about this under Request Guidelines.We can also do very basic sprite editing, but uh... We're not very good at it. We will do it upon request for little things.

Currently, there are two admins, both from The Neon Angels System (@neon-angels-system). V, the host, and Owa, the cohost.V signs off with '-V', Owa signs off with '-Owa' or '-🌿', and '-Neon' is used as a catch-all for alters who don't want to disclose their identity, or for identity confusion.Due to both being part of a system and being in school, the speed of fulfilling of requests may vary depending on the time of term and who's fronting.Some of our other headmates may chose to fulfil requests for fun, but most are much more passionate about other media.

Before You Follow!

This blog is kin & system friendly!This blog does not participate in syscourse - this means that anyone, from any side of the discourse, may interact, and we will interact back. The only exception to this is syscourse-centric blogs, which we'll be more than happy to block.We will tag common triggers as '[trigger]', '[tw/cw] [trigger]', and '[trigger] [tw/cw]' (e.g. 'blood', 'tw blood', and 'blood tw') as well as putting the potentially sensitive content behind a read more. All character deaths will be tagged as '[first name] [last name] death' and '[first name] death'. Please send in an ask if you have any uncommon triggers; the ask itself will not be posted, as to avoid potential abuse.

Request Format

For requests, you can send in either a submission or an ask.Submissions should include:
-The character or specific sprites you want recoloured.
-The palette or inspiration you want us to use.
-Any specific details you had in mind.
E.g. 'Can you swap the palettes of Q-Taro and Safalin in this picture? I want Q-Taro's hair to be green, and Safalin's hair to be red.'Asks should include:
-The character you want recoloured - if you have a particular sprite in mind, but don't know how to find it, please describe the sprite.
-The inspiration you want us to use.
-Any specific details you had in mind.
E.g. 'Could you do a palette swap of Q-Taro and Safalin? I think there was a sprite of Safalin supporting an injured Q-Taro. I want their hair colours to be swapped!'

Palettes

Palettes refer to the colours that replace the original colours of the sprite; this may be another sprite, an unrelated image, or a specific set of colours designed for recolours.We also accept inspirations in place of true palettes; as long as your inspiration has associated colours, we can find images to reference from, or guesstimate a palette ourselves. Specifying an alteration to the original colours (e.g. a pastel version of the original sprite) is also fine.Talksprites, which are the sprites seen whenever a character is speaking, are very well done in YTTD. Unfortunately, due to how the shading is done on the talksprites, they are a pain in the ass to recolour with the tools we are currently using. We can take colours from them though, so feel free to submit them as palettes.

Recolouring sprites isn't exactly hard, but it can get a little tricky due to the variation between sprites and their palettes.The main issue is choosing both where the new colours should go, and what colours to use in the case of the palette and the base having differing numbers of colours.This may lead to a situation where you have a fuck ton of alternative colourways, as shown here. The more information you provide, the easier it makes it on our end.

Recolouring Options

We WILL do:
-Palette swaps / full recolours of simple sprites (not limited to characters).
-Partial recolours of simple sprites.
-Recolours of GIFs / simple animations.
-Simple sprite edits, upon special request (e.g. changing the pattern on a scarf).
-Sprite edit / recolour (includes animations) and convert into the correct format + name to replace the original sprite in-game.We will NOT do:
-Recolours of talksprites, CGs, or other complicated sprites.
-Fusions or other mid-level sprite edits. We can't do good-looking sprite edits for shit okay.
-Requests that are too vague, or too detailed.
-Potentially offensive requests.If you're unsure of whether your request has been received and/or accepted, feel free to send in a follow-up ask!Please credit us if you use our recolours!
